29th September 2021, Bandar Seri Putra – Kolej Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Selangor (KUIS) through International Research Centre of Economics and Finance (IRCIEF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Islamic University of Maldives (IUM) for cooperating in research, co-organizing conferences, short courses, modules development, mobilization program and academic publications.
Through this MoU, will be able to create a platform for strategic and comprehensive partnership, skill training and to further explore the opportunities between KUIS and IUM specifically in Islamic Finance and the related areas of research that are beneficial for both institutions.
The ceremony was held virtually as the country is still in the period of the Movement Control Order. However, this is not an obstacle for KUIS to develop academic mutual relationships with other institutions.
