The program is designed to meet the needs of the computer science workforce in various sectors and industries. The program covers theoretical and practical aspects individually and in groups that are reinforced by an appreciation of ethics and manners.

• Pass the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least three (3) credits in any subjects, AND pass in Mathematics; or

• Pass the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)** with **at least a Grade B in 3 subjects including Mathematics; or

• Pass O-Level with at least a Grade C in 3 subjects including Mathematics; or

• Pass SKM Level 3 in a related field, AND pass SPM with at least a credit in Mathematics at SPM level; or

• Pass a Community College Certificate equivalent to MQF Level 3 in a related field, AND pass SPM with at least a credit in Mathematics at SPM level; or

• Pass other qualifications equivalent to a Certificate (MQF Level 3)** AND pass in Mathematics at SPM level; or

• Pass STPM or equivalent with at least a Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in one (1) subject, AND pass in Mathematics at SPM level; or

• Pass STAM with Maqbul rank, AND pass in Mathematics at SPM level; or

• Other qualifications recognized as equivalent.

Note

1. Candidates with a credit in computing subjects at the SPM level or equivalent may be given priority.
2. Candidates who only pass Mathematics at the SPM level are required to take the Introductory Mathematics course during their studies.
