Boarding Experience

Set away from the distractions of home and city life, students who choose to board are often more independent and have stronger work and study habits than their non-boarding counterparts. From day one, students are expected to make academics their number one priority while also remaining active in the campus community and quickly learn how to manage their time.

In addition to academics, peer to peer learning is an important aspect of the boarding experience. While studying, living and playing together, students learn both how to live independently as well as interdependently, learning to rely on themselves while also assisting each other. Students who board at UCSI International School are also exposed to students from a range of different ethnicities, nationalities and backgrounds and will learn to understand, appreciate and embrace multiculturalism, essential skills for life in a globalised world. Finally, boarding is fun! The friendships developed at boarding school are friendships that last a lifetime.
